Description: Two well formed finely colored, distinctly marked flowers and two buds on four 17.0-cm to 21.5-cm tall inflorescences; sepals and petals green-yellow, dorsal sepal clearly and boldly veined and reticulated mahogany, ventral sepal finely spotted mahogany, petals clearly and boldly veined and reticulated red-pink becoming less distinct distally, margin blushed red-pink; pouch white suffused medium pink throughout, suffusion deeper and more pronounced on superior half; staminode white, spotted red-pink, distal half overlaid bright yellow; substance medium; texture matte, pouch lightly crystalline.

Description: Fifty-four flowers on eleven gracefully arching inflorescences ranging in length from 70.5 cm to 92.0 cm on a very large, well grown 178.0-cm diameter by 89.0-cm high plant in a 22.9-cm by 20.5-cm plastic pot containing a basic bark mix; dorsal sepal white, lightly shaded pale green centrally, boldly veined mahogany; synsepal is a paler version of the dorsal sepal; petals apple green blotched mahogany proximally finely warted mahogany on proximal one fifth of petal margins; pouch white, overlaid green-yellow, heavily reticulated green-brown; substance firm; texture satin.

Description: Twenty-one flowers and eight buds plus numerous immature buds borne on two 50.0-cm long racemose, erect to slightly nodding inflorescences on a 24.0-cm diameter plant grown in moss in an 8.5-cm square plastic pot; basal leaves beautiful, glossy and attractively colored, fleshy ovate-lanceolate dark green centrally, light green laterally, dark green marginally, surface cells raised, 3.0-cm wide by 10.0-cm long on semi-terete fleshy petioles, 0.5-cm wide by 6.0-cm long; dorsal sepal maroon, stramineous marginally; lateral sepals linear, green proximally, brown distally; petals minute green; lip tri-lobed light yellow, side lobes green-yellow, midlobe yellow-cream centrally, distally, broadly rounded, white; column cream, anther cap brown; substance fleshy; texture matte; ovary green-brown partially encased in red-brown bract; country of origin is Columbia; Cyclopogon elatus , award 20152049, has been confirmed to be Cyclopogon elatus by SITF (Sept 2015).
